Four things we won't bend on
We plan every trip ourselves
Nothing here is resold from someone else's catalogue. Each itinerary exists because somebody on this team went, came back, and argued for it. That's also why we can change one for you — we wrote it, so we can rewrite it.
We steer by weather, not margin
Every destination on this site carries an honest month-by-month read, including the windows we'd tell you to avoid. If you ask about a place in its worst month, we'll say so and point you somewhere at its best instead. It costs us bookings. It's the right call.
Small groups, led by someone who's been there
Every departure has a trained Trip Captain on the ground handling logistics and the safety calls. Groups stay together for transport and stays, and we vet drivers and accommodation before you arrive.
You don't need to bring anyone
Most people who book with us come alone — solo and solo-female travellers are a large share of who travels with us. The group is the thing you came for, even if you didn't know it when you booked.
A Community Trip is not a tour group
A tour group is a list of people who bought the same product. A Community Trip is a small, fixed-date departure that solo travellers, pairs and strangers all join on equal footing — and the strangers rarely stay strangers past the second morning.
You travel with a curated set of people on a route we planned, led by a captain who has walked it before. Nobody has to organise anything. What people tell us afterwards is almost never about the hotels — it's about who they met.
Ground we know well enough to argue about
