Neither were most of the people who end up coming with us. Somebody mentions a valley you've never heard of, or a village that empties out every winter, and a fortnight later you're on a bus at five in the morning. That's usually how it starts.

The short version

Not a travel company. A community of travel lovers.

We plan every trip ourselves. Nothing here is resold from someone else's catalogue, and no itinerary exists because it was easy to book — it exists because somebody on this team went, and came back convinced you should too.

Our groups are small and open to people travelling alone. Most who book with us arrive on their own and leave with a group chat that outlives the trip. That is the actual product; the buses and the hotels are logistics.

And we keep going where the map thins out. Not because remote is automatically better, but because the places nobody has organised a queue for are the ones people are still talking about a year later.

A Community Trip
A small-group departure open to solo travellers, friends, and strangers who don't stay strangers. You don't need to arrive with anyone.
A Trip Captain
Someone we trained and vetted who has already been where you're going, and who handles the logistics, the safety calls, and the day-to-day so you don't have to.
Travelling solo
Solo and solo-female travellers are a large share of who books with us. Groups stay together for transport and stays, and we vet drivers and accommodation in advance.
