About this trip
The same five-valley Himachal route, timed for New Year's Eve in Manali: snow adventure and a ropeway at Solang, white-water rafting on the Beas at Kullu, the sacred hot springs of Manikaran, the alpine meadow of Khajjiar, and Little Lhasa's monasteries and market at McLeod Ganj — with a lively DJ night under the stars in Kasol along the way.
How the 10N/11D actually goes
Day 1: Goa | Board the Train North
Depart Goa towards Chandigarh by overnight train. Group bonding and travel time as the tour kicks off.
Day 2: Chandigarh | Onward to the Hills
Arrive Chandigarh by late evening, board the onward overnight journey towards Manali.
Day 3: Manali | New Year's Eve in the Valley
Reach Manali in the morning, check in and settle in. Ring in the New Year with an evening at the Club House or a stroll down Mall Road. Overnight Manali.
Day 4: Solang Valley | A Full Day of Adventure
Full day at Solang Valley — snow activities (seasonal), a ropeway ride, and adventure options including paragliding and zorbing. Overnight Manali.
Day 5: Kullu & Kasol | Rapids, Bazaars & River Valleys
Check out and drive to Kullu — free river rafting session on the Beas, browse the Kullu bazaars, continue to Kasol and check in. A lively DJ night in Kasol. Overnight Kasol.
Day 6: Manikaran & Kasol | Hot Springs and River Trails
Visit Manikaran Sahib for its hot springs and langar, explore Kasol's market and the banks of the Parvati. Evening road journey towards Dalhousie.
Day 7: Dalhousie & Khajjiar | Colonial Hills to Alpine Meadow
Arrive Dalhousie, check in. Visit St. John's Church, the alpine meadow and lake at Khajjiar, and Khajji Nag Temple. Free evening at Gandhi Chowk and Mall Road. Overnight Dalhousie.
Day 8: Dalhousie to Dharamshala | Viewpoints en Route
Check out, pause at Panjpula and Bakrota Hills viewpoints, continue to Dharamshala and check in. Evening exploring the local market. Overnight Dharamshala.
Day 9: McLeod Ganj | Little Lhasa in the Clouds
Visit the HPCA Cricket Stadium, then McLeod Ganj — Namgyal Monastery and the Dalai Lama Temple, Bhagsunag Temple and Bhagsu Waterfall, and the Tibetan Market. Evening road journey towards Chandigarh.
Day 10: Chandigarh | Homeward Bound
Reach Chandigarh early morning and board the train towards Goa.
Day 11: Goa | Journey's End
Arrive Goa — the trip concludes with eleven days of mountains, rivers and memories.
